Candy Love - Escada - Le parfum gourmand et romantique pour la Saint-Valentin

Perfect with Valentine's Day just around the corner, I'm back today to introduce you to Escada's brand new limited edition fragrance: Candy Love!

Le packaging

Candy Love* se présente dans une jolie boite cartonnée, au look vintage, qui ne passe pas inaperçue. Rose bonbon, rehaussée d'un cœur rouge et de rayures blanches, elle nous transporte instantanément au beau milieu d'une fête foraine remplie de gourmandises colorées.

À l'intérieur, on trouve un flacon opaque en forme de cœur, rose et rouge. Avec son fini laqué, il n'est pas sans rappeler les célèbres pommes d'amour et ce n'est pas une coïncidence puisqu'on retrouve cette note dans sa pyramide olfactive !

Régressif à souhait, ce flacon m'a totalement fait chavirer :)

Packaging

Candy Love* comes in a pretty cardboard box with a vintage look that won't go unnoticed. Candy pink, enhanced with a red heart and white stripes, it instantly transports us to the heart of a funfair filled with colourful treats.

Inside, you'll find a pink and red opaque heart-shaped bottle. With its glossy finish, it reminds us of the famous candy apples and it's no coincidence that we find this note in its olfactory pyramid!

This regressive bottle won me over :)

Le parfum

Créée par Amandine Clerc-Marie et Nicolas Beaulieu, cette fragrance dévoile la pyramide olfactive suivante :

Notes de tête : Pomme d'amour, Poire, Mandarine verte

Notes de cœur : Rose, Framboise, Cannelle

Notes de fond : Crème fouettée, Vanille

Candy Love s'ouvre sur une délicieuse note de pomme d'amour, sucrée et juteuse à souhait, accompagnée d'une touche fraîche de poire et d'un souffle hespéridé de mandarine verte. Un cœur floral de rose rehaussé d'une pointe de framboise et de cannelle se dévoile ensuite. Un soupçon de crème fouettée à la vanille vient saupoudrer le tout d'une note gourmande et aérienne.

Avec ce nouveau jus, Escada a réussi le pari de proposer un parfum ultra gourmand, mais absolument pas écœurant. En effet, les quelques notes florales et hespéridées suffisent à contrebalancer son caractère fruité et sucré pour offrir une fragrance douce, régressive et féminine parfaitement équilibrée.

Autre point fort non négligeable : Candy Love contient essentiellement des ingrédients d'origine naturelle, notamment sa pomme d'amour, sa rose et sa mandarine verte :)

Created by Amandine Clerc-Marie and Nicolas Beaulieu, this fragrance features the following olfactory pyramid:

Top notes: Candy apple, Pear, Green tangerine

Middle notes: Rose, Raspberry, Cinnamon

Base notes: Whipped Cream, Vanilla

Candy Love opens with a delicious note of candy apple, perfectly sweet and juicy, with a fresh touch of pear and a citrusy hint of green mandarin. A floral heart of rose with a hint of raspberry and cinnamon follows. A hint of vanilla whipped cream sprinkles the entire composition with a delicious and heavenly note.

With this new fragrance, Escada has succeeded in offering a delicious yet not at all sickly sweet scent. Indeed, the few floral and citrus notes are enough to counterbalance its fruity and sweet personality to provide a soft, regressive and feminine fragrance that is perfectly balanced.

Another non-negligible point: Candy Love essentially contains ingredients of natural origin, including its candy apple, rose and green tangerine :)

Malgré le fait que Candy Love soit une eau de toilette, la tenue est très bonne sur ma peau et je ne ressens pas le besoin de me parfumer à nouveau au cours de la journée. Je pourrais être tentée de raviver ses notes gourmandes avant une sortie en soirée, mais l'occasion ne se présente pas en ce moment... ^^

In spite of the fact that Candy Love is an eau de toilette, the staying power is very good on my skin and I don't feel the need to re-perfume myself during the day. I might be tempted to revive its delicious notes before an evening out, but the opportunity does not present itself at the moment... ^^

Verdict ?

Je suis vraiment ravie de ma découverte et je ne regrette absolument pas de m'être laissée tenter par le packaging. Sa fragrance est devenue une madeleine de Proust rappelant le sentiment d'insouciance, de joie et de liberté au cœur d'une fête foraine. Depuis plusieurs jours, je me dirige instinctivement vers ce petit flacon lorsque je me prépare le matin. La situation actuelle y est surement pour beaucoup, mais j'adore son parfum doux, gourmand et réconfortant ❤

Si vous cherchez une idée cadeau de dernière minute pour la Saint-Valentin, Candy Love sera parfaitement à la hauteur :D

I'm really delighted with my discovery and I have absolutely no regrets at all for letting myself be tempted by the packaging. Its fragrance has become a Proust madeleine that recalls the feeling of carelessness, joy and freedom at the heart of a fun fair. For several days now, I've instinctively been going for this cute bottle when I get ready in the morning. The current situation is surely to blame, but I love its sweet, delicious and comforting scent ❤
