Mon été placé sous le signe de l'aloe vera !

J'espère que vous allez bien ! Comme vous avez pu le voir dans le titre, mon été 2020 est placé sous le signe de l'aloe vera !

En effet, cette plante aux multiples vertus est devenue une véritable addiction au fil des semaines tant j'aime son odeur fraîche et son pouvoir hydratant et apaisant. Je vous propose donc aujourd'hui de découvrir les produits à base d'aloe vera que j'utilise en ce moment :)

I hope you're doing well! As you can see from the title, my summer 2020 is all about aloe vera!

Indeed, this plant with multiple virtues has become a real addiction over the last few weeks as I love its fresh scent and its moisturizing and soothing power. I therefore invite you to discover the aloe vera-based products that I am using at the moment :)

Bath and Body Works - Fresh Water and Aloe

Comme je vous le disais en début d'article, j'aime énormément la fraîcheur de l'aloe vera alors quand je suis tombée sur la bougie Fresh Water and Aloe* de Bath and Body Works sur le site Notino, je n'ai pas hésité longtemps avant de la glisser dans mon panier.

Cette bougie à trois mèches en coton mélange des notes d'aloe vera, d'ozone et de fleurs d'eau pour une fragrance fraîche, douce et légère propice à la relaxation. C'est d'ailleurs dans ma salle de bain qu'elle a pris place et j'adore l'allumer lors de mes séances cocooning :)

As I told you at the beginning of this article, I love the freshness of aloe vera so when I came across the Fresh Water and Aloe* candle from Bath and Body Works on Notino, I didn't hesitate long before adding it to my basket.

This three-wick cotton candle blends notes of aloe vera, ozone and water flowers for a fresh, soft and light fragrance that's great for relaxation. I placed it in my bathroom and I love to burn it during my pampering sessions :)

Énergie Fruit - Gel Douche fleur de tiaré et aloe vera bio

On reste dans ma salle de bain avec le gel douche que j'utilise en ce moment, le gel douche à la fleur de tiaré et d'aloe vera bio signé Énergie Fruit.

Vegan et cruelty-free, ce gel douche bio est formulé sans phtalates, sans silicones et sans savon et offre une compo notée 100/100 sur Yuka (appli que j'utilise maintenant systématiquement pour en savoir plus sur ce que j'utilise, j'aurais l'occasion d'y revenir un peu plus bas dans cet article).

Il laisse la peau douce et souple, et surtout, l'odeur est un délice !

Let's stay in my bathroom with the shower gel I'm using right now, the shower gel with tiare flower and organic aloe vera by Énergie Fruit.

Vegan and cruelty-free, this organic shower gel is formulated without phthalates, silicones or soap and offers a 100/100 grade formulation on Yuka (an app I now use systematically to know more about what I use, I'll have the opportunity to come back to it a bit further down in this article).

It leaves the skin soft and supple, and above all, the smell is a delight!

Dr Santé - Aloe Vera

Appartenant au grand groupe Polonais Elfa, Dr Santé est une marque cruelty-free aux nombreuses formulations vegan et je me suis laissé tentée par la gamme de soins pour les cheveux Aloe Vera*. Connaissant la marque Green Pharmacy appartenant au même groupe et au vu du packaging, je n'ai pas eu le réflexe de vérifier la compo avant de craquer, mais j'aurais du ! 

Comme je vous le disais juste avant, j'utilise maintenant systématiquement Yuka pour scanner mes cosmétiques dans le but d'utiliser des produits plus clean pour la santé et l'environnement. Je suis loin d'être parfaite pour l'instant, mais j'ai décidé d'éliminer les silicones et malheureusement, cette gamme en contient beaucoup.

Je vais terminer cette routine shampoing, après-shampooing et masque et si vous n'êtes pas regardants sur les compos, vous pouvez vous laisser tenter puisque niveau sensorialité, les produits sont agréables (odeur fraîche, texture onctueuse etc.) mais ce ne sont pas des produits que je rachèterai.

Belonging to the major Polish group Elfa, Dr Santé is a cruelty-free brand with numerous vegan formulations and I was tempted by the Aloe Vera* hair care range. Knowing the Green Pharmacy brand belonging to the same group and seeing the packaging, I didn't think of checking the ingredients before I ordered it, but I should have!

As I was telling you before, I now systematically use Yuka to scan my cosmetics in order to use products that are cleaner for health and the environment. I'm far from perfect at the moment, but I've decided to eliminate silicones and unfortunately, this range contains a lot of them.

I'm going to finish this shampoo, conditioner and mask routine and if you're not looking at the ingredients that much, you can let yourself be tempted since, on a sensory level, the products are pleasant (fresh smell, creamy texture etc.) but they are not products that I will buy again.

The Library of Fragrance - Aloe Vera

Pour faire durer l'odeur d'aloe vera encore plus longtemps après ma douche, j'ai craqué sur le parfum  unisexe Aloe Vera* signé The Library of Fragrance (marque dont je vous ai déjà parlé sur Instagram il y a quelque temps). Comme vous pouvez vous en douter, l'odeur est fraîche, légèrement aquatique et parfaite en cette saison !

To make the aloe vera scent last even longer after my shower, I picked the unisex scent Aloe Vera* by The Library of Fragrance (a brand I talked about on Instagram a while ago). As you can imagine, the scent is fresh, slightly aquatic and perfect for the season!

Revolution Skincare - Aloe Vera and Water Lily

Le soir, et surtout après une exposition au soleil, j'aime hydrater et apaiser ma peau avec un petit masque. J'utilise souvent le masque apaisant Aloe Vera et Water Lily* de Revolution Skincare. 

Sa texture gel fraîche est très agréable et elle laisse la peau hydratée, apaisée et repulpée. Un véritable shot d'hydratation !

In the evening, and especially after sun exposure, I like to moisturize and soothe my skin with a little mask. I often use Revolution Skincare's soothing Aloe Vera and Water Lily* mask. 

Its fresh gel texture is very pleasant and it leaves the skin hydrated, soothed and plumped up. A real shot of hydration!

Missha - Aloe

Quand je n'utilise pas le masque Revolution présenté juste avant, j'aime utiliser le masque en tissu Aloe * de Missha. Je vous en ai déjà parlé sur le blog, ces masques en tencel écologique sont ultra-fins, s'adaptent parfaitement au contours du visage et restent en place pendant toute la durée du soin, bref, un bonheur !

When I don't use the Revolution mask presented just before, I like to use the Aloe* sheet mask from Missha. I've already told you about it on the blog, these eco-friendly tencel masks are ultra-thin, adapt perfectly to the contours of the face and stay in place throughout the treatment, in short, a real pleasure!

Urtekram - Aloe Vera Toothpaste

J'ai mis très longtemps à trouver un dentifrice vegan, à la compo clean, qui me convienne tant au gout qu'à la texture, mais je crois que ça y est avec le dentifrice à l'aloe vera* de Urtekram !

Bio et 100 % d'origine naturelle, ce dentifrice est une véritable pépite ! Il laisse les dents propres et l'haleine fraîche, sa texture n'est ni trop fluide, ni trop épaisse, bref, je l'adore :)

It took me a very long time to find a vegan toothpaste, with a clean formula, that suits me both in taste and texture, but I think I've found it with Urtekram's aloe vera* toothpaste!

Organic and 100% natural, this toothpaste is a real gem! It leaves your teeth clean and your breath fresh, its texture is neither too fluid nor too thick, in short, I love it :)

Lavera - Basis Sensitiv

Le matin, j'utilise le nettoyant* et la crème de jour* de la gamme très connue Basis Sensitiv de Lavera. 

À base d'aloe vera et de jojoba, cette gamme bio et vegan nettoie et hydrate parfaitement la peau, tout en douceur.

In the morning, I use the cleanser* and day cream* from Lavera's well-known Basis Sensitiv range. 

Containing aloe vera and jojoba, this organic and vegan range cleanses and moisturises the skin perfectly and very gently.

XX Revolution - Hydra Quench Bomb

Je termine par mon plus gros coup de coeur du moment (vous l'avez déjà aperçu sur Instagram si vous suivez mes stories), le primer Hydra Quench Bomb* signé XX Revolution !

Cruelty-free et vegan, cette base de teint lisse parfaitement la peau, la prépare à l’application du fond de teint et assure une longue tenue au maquillage. À base d'aloe vera, elle apporte également hydratation et confort tout au long de la journée ! Bref, un incontournable si vous cherchez une base lissante et hydratante :)
